A 2 day workshop exploring the possibilities of altering wheel thrown cylindrical forms into square, rectangular and oval shapes. Learn a variety of faceting techniques and take the challenge to express your personal creativity.

The workshop will begin with a thorough demonstration of altering techniques that will give you plenty of information for you to practice during and after the workshop.

Embrace this 2 days as a time to explore your creative practice and to find new directions and style to incorporate into your work.

You will be assisted and guided throughout the two days to ensure that you will come out of the course with a few successful pieces.

Materials Provided

All participants will receive a complete set of materials, including:

• Unlimited amounts pugged white or red clay to practice on.

• 3kg of bisque-fired work.

• Ongoing students can glaze fire their work at no extra cost, whilst others can glaze for at $15 per kilo plus glaze.
