Join us on Tuesday nights for eight weeks of clay, calm, and the deeply satisfying feeling of making something with your own hands. Guided by ceramic artist Will Schubert, this class is perfect for beginners as well as returning students who enjoy learning in a steady, supportive atmosphere.

Will has a gentle, observant teaching style, the kind where he quietly notices what your piece needs and offers a small suggestion that suddenly makes everything feel possible. He’s patient, thoughtful, and wonderfully good at helping you slow down, breathe, and find your rhythm on the wheel.

Throughout the term you’ll learn all the essentials: centering (it will happen), pulling even walls, shaping forms, and trimming with intention. Once your pieces are bisque fired, they’ll be ready for decorating and glazing. Our studio is fully equipped with an extensive selection of slips, underglazes, dipping glazes, brush-on glazes, and all the tools you could possibly need to bring your pieces to life. After glazing, your work will be glaze-fired and ready to collect and enjoy a couple of weeks later.
